NOVEMBER 6th (THURSDAY)
Call Team - SOLD OUT
November 6th | 5:30-7:30 pm Arrive at Island Air at 5:30 pm. We will call families to verify their information. If you speak Spanish, this is a great job for you.
NOVEMBER 20th (THURSDAY)
Canned Goods Pick-Up Team
November 20th | 9:00 am-12:00 pm We will drive around and pick up canned goods from different collection sites in our area and bring them back to Church at the Shores. MUST BE ABLE BODIED - recommend being a strong person with a strong back.
NOVEMBER 21st (FRIDAY)
Support Team - SOLD OUT
November 21st | 4:00-6:00 pm Arrive at Church at the Shores at 4:00 pm. We will help make signs, write thank you notes, and be runners for odd jobs.
Parking Team
November 21st | 5:00-7:00 pm Arrive at Church at the Shores at 5:00 pm. We will help direct and park volunteers arriving to serve.
SORT Canned/Non-perishable Team
November 21st | 5:30-6:30 pm Arrive at Church at the Shores at 5:30 pm. We will organize and sort canned foods, and get rid of expired foods.
BAG Canned/Non-perishable Team
November 21st | 6:30-7:30 pm Arrive at Church at the Shores at 6:30 pm. We will bag canned & non-perishable goods to be delivered.
NOVEMBER 22nd (SATURDAY)
You can only register for ONE serving position on Saturday!!
(Example a food packing team member cannot be a delivery driver)
Pick-Up Team
November 22nd | 7:30-8:30 am Arrive at Publix in Gulf Shores at 7:30 am. We will load food into our trailer. We will drive over to Church at the Shores to unload. MUST BE ABLE BODIED - recommend being a strong person with a strong back.
Prep Line Team
November 22nd | 8:30-10:00 am Arrive at Church at the Shores at 8:30 am. We will be assisting in bagging turkeys, organizing the food line, and helping replenish the food packing lines. MUST BE ABLE BODIED - recommend being a strong person with a strong back.
Parking Team
November 22nd | 8:30-10:30 am Arrive at Church at the Shores at 8:30 am. We will help direct and park volunteers arriving to serve.
Food Packing Team
November 22nd | 9:00-10:00 am Arrive at Church at the Shores at 9:00 am. We will be packing and bagging the food for delivery.
Car Packing Team
November 22nd | 9:30-11:30 am Arrive at Church at the Shores at 9:30 am. We will help load heavy bags of canned goods & meals into delivery drivers’ cars. MUST BE ABLE BODIED - recommend being a strong person with a strong back.
Clean & Reset Team
November 22nd | 9:30 am-12:00 pm Arrive at Church at the Shores at 9:30 am. We will assist in cleaning and re-setting the church. This includes taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, and other duties.
Delivery Team (PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION) - FULL
November 22nd | 10:00 am - until route is completed. Arrive at Church at the Shores at 10:00 am. We will deliver food and canned goods to each home on a pre-determined route. pre-determined route. You can only register for ONE serving position on Saturday! (Example a delivery team member cannot be on the food packing team)
You will drive your personal vehicle and deliver meals to those in need.
YOUR VEHICLE MUST HAVE SUFFICIENT SPACE TO CARRY 15+ LARGE TOTE BAGS.
DO NOT DELIVER ALONE. You should have at least one passenger with you.
ONLY THE DRIVER NEEDS TO REGISTER.
***ARRIVE AT 10AM, PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY. WE HAVE A TEAM THAT WILL NEED TO PARK YOU IN A PARTICULAR MANNER.
Check-Out Team
November 22nd | 10:00 am-11:00 am Arrive at Church at the Shores at 10:00 am. We will assist those families that are coming to Church at the Shores to pick up their meals. This includes contacting the families, checking families in, and loading the families' cars with food.
